The Narotam Sekhsaria Scholarship programme, initiated by the Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation, promotes academic excellence in India. The merit-based loan scholarship is awarded to students wishing to pursue their post graduate studies in Various fields from prestigious universities in India and abroad. Since 2005, Narotam Sekhsaria Scholarship scholars have enrolled in institutions like IIM Kolkata, IIM Ahmedabad, Oxford University, Stanford University, University of Cambridge, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, MIT, Harvard University, London School of Economics, University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign.

Recipients of the 2009-10 scholarships include: Jyoti Ranjan, Indian School of Business; Deeksha Sharma, Bachelor in Civil Law at Oxford University; Vinod Ramchandran, IIM - Ahmedabad; Satish Polisetti, MS in Mech. Engg. from University of California; Adithya Rao, MS/PhD in Elec. Engg. from MIT; and Sneha Rao, MS in Biotech from Johns Hopkins University.

Indian nationals who have graduated from recognized Indian universities, are below 30 years of age and are planning to pursue their post graduate studies during 2010-2011 are eligible to apply for the Scholarship.

Selected scholars will have the advantage of being a part of Foundation’s mentoring programme, where a mentor guides them in their development as professionals and motivates them to strive for excellence.
